About Tenant Life
Being a tenant can be tough. We have years of personal experience from renting property in the UK, in London as well as in other parts of the country. It has not always been a pleasant experience. So far we’ve encountered mice and flea infestation, properties without any insulation (joint horrors of being freezing expensive – due to the excessive heating bill), boilers breaking down and not being fixed for weeks, un-scrupulous letting agents etc.
We feel that there is clearly a need for a forum where people like us can exchange information and share experiences. So we created this site – Tenant Life.
We’ve added a fantastic news area – covering all the stories of the day that we think are relevant us renters. We’ve put in a forum, so we can chat about our experiences and offer each other support the benefit of our colective wisdom. Also, check back here to the editorial side of things – where we hope we’ll be able to offer you more specific links to things that we think you might find useful as well as offering our own take on all things relevant to the tenant life.
